			From The Planet of the apes television Series episode "Tomorrow's Tide" This is a fish farm chimp costume. This costume was custom made for the television series. This costume is featured through out the show. It consists of the standard chimp pants and feet (made for and used in the planet of the Apes film) and a custom made tunic with brown arm band featuring the fish icon representing the fact that this chimp works on a fish farm. Like the rifle featured on this site, This is a background rifle from the film Beneath the Planet of the Apes and also featured in the Apes television series. This rifle is made out of wood with a faux metal bolt action. It is the type used extensively through out the film. It is very prominently featured in the scenes where the gorilla army is marching across the bridge to invade the Forbidden Zone. 		Gorilla Soldier outfit. If you are an ape fan, this costume is a must. This is an original gorilla guard costume feature in Planet, Beneath, Battle and the apes television series. This outfit features a two piece purple under suit and a heavy leather vest. This outfit also comes with the extremely rare holster belt. The Holster belt was converted from a common bandoleer by the prop people at 20th century fox. Who knows, General Urko himself could have sported this bad boy. This is a partial orangutan costume feature in Planet, Beneath, Battle as well as in the apes television series. This costume consists of a brown under tunic with brown leather sleeve patches and a pair of orange pants. If you are in possession of the orange Orangutan coat or shoes these will help complete a very awesome and highly desired ape prop. Gorilla Appliance. This is a gorilla ape appliance. Most likely an early prototype for the pullover type masks featured in the ape films. A lot of the key character and apes featured in close-up scenes wore make-up appliances. It was a very long and tedious process to convert a man into a gorilla. To cut down on time and cost a lot background apes wore a pullover type mask, thus reducing the amount of time needed for the makeup session. This prop is unused. and very old. From the film Battle for the POTA, this is a partial child chimp costume used in the school room scene. Remember " Ape shall Never Kill Ape" This prop consists of a pair of brown chimp shoes and the brown under-tunic. Another interesting fact about this costume is that the actor who wore it also portrayed one of the Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz. His name is written on the tag inside of the vest.
